The Republican Guard is the national military of the Republic, as well as serving various purposes from espionage to law enforcement. Currently, the Republican Guard also holds a political role, being enshrined in the constitution as an advisory bloc with some political power. The Republican Guard consists of multiple independent branches, with a central command overseeing them all from the JFK building in Republic City.
History[edit | edit source]
Branches[edit | edit source]
Training Branch[edit | edit source]
Upon enlistment, every enlistee starts in the Training Branch, and upon completion, they are offered a chance to choose what branch they would like to go into. Students of the Republican Military Academy may skip service in this branch, as being a student in the Military Academy is considered service to the general branch.
